I guess you could say I took a circuitous route into book cover design. Having taken my degree in Creative Writing at the age of 18, I ended up doing lots of different forms of writing, but overtime I could never get away from my love of drawing, and of books.
I've always been obsessed by books and I wanted to be a designer and I wanted to use design to help make a success of writers and of their work. I feel my respect for writers and storytelling helps me in my design work.
During a nine month course at Shillington College I was taught my craft in graphic design. Now I use those practices in my work everyday. In the rest of my life, I like to take an interest in many subjects on top of books , including films, history, and activism.
